Felt so cozy. Loved my arugula salmon salad. The gluten free bread was ridiculously yummy. The coffee was great and even received refills. It was so nice to relax there. Great service!
I love working and meeting friends here! They are almost always busy and with good reason. But never seem to have a long wait. This week when I was there several people checked on me while I was waiting for my food. I got an espresso tonight, their version of a coffee soda. It was so refreshing and the portion size is more generous than any other coffee shop I’ve been to who serves this drink!
We arrived at the cafe after wandering around in the East Nashville. It was like 7pm so there were few customers who were reading books, just relaxing and chatting with friends. We ordered Turtle latte and Havana latte. Both were really good and the staff were so friendly and gave us great service. I’m happy to find good cafe to relax and would like to go back again.
Fabulous experience! The food was fresh & delicious; the coffee was, too! Wonderful combination of flavors, and we could tell everything was home made. Exceptional service. JUST FROTHY MONKEY! What can I say about it? They have the best service, place and breakfast menu from the whole city of Nashville. The sandwich and sweet dishes are just amazing. In addition, the coffee variety is so interesting that you could not get tired of try all of them over and over. IMPORTANT: The prices are quite high but it is worth it every dollar ;)
We kicked off our first day in Nashville with a visit to Frothy Monkey, and it was the perfect start. The chicken salad sandwich was fresh and flavorful, and the breakfast bagel was just right. OMG the Hoff’s hot sauce was fire!!! The golden monkey latte had such good flavor, exactly what I wanted. But the best part of the experience was the service—genuinely warm and welcoming from the moment we walked in. The space is beautiful, and the neighborhood adds to the charm. We’ll definitely be back.
Grant was our server and he was AMAZING. He was funny, attentive, and had great recommendations. I had the shrimp and grits and it was 10/10. Next time I’m back in town I will be stopping in for that same meal. I also had the Apple Bottom Jeans drink and it was delicious!
A great spot to get some work done or just meet up with some folks. The Betsy sandwich was excellent. The Monkey Mocha drinks were awesome. The background music (mix of grunge & later-90s rock) was on-point for an old geezer like me. The WiFi signal was strong. The set-up, both inside & outside, was roomy. And the service was outstanding. Oh, and abundant parking to boot. All in all, I highly recommend!
